Mission Statement
At Wild Hearts Refuge, we rescue, rehabilitate, adopt and provide lifelong sanctuary for horses in need while creating a healing refuge for foster youth, troubled youth, veterans, and survivors of abuse. Through the powerful bond between horse and human, we help the unbroken rise together — free, connected, and loved.

Thoughtfully Building Our Foundation
Wild Hearts Refuge is currently in its foundational phase, focused on creating the infrastructure, partnerships, and resources needed to responsibly rescue and care for horses. We believe sustainability comes before scale — ensuring every life we touch is supported with integrity, safety, and long-term commitment.

Why Wild Hearts Refuge
Wild Hearts Refuge was born from lived experience and the belief that healing happens in relationship — often without words. Horses, with their honesty and sensitivity, offer a powerful path to restoration for those who have experienced trauma, instability, or loss.
Rescue. Rehabilitate. Thrive.
Every rescue begins with preparation.
Wild Hearts Refuge is currently building the foundation needed to responsibly welcome our first horses. Our focus right now is care, safety, and long-term sustainability.
